1. Introduction
This Driver Agreement governs the relationship between White Comfort Executive Transport Ltd ("Company") and drivers operating vehicles under the COMFORT ride-sharing platform. By operating a vehicle for the COMFORT service, the driver agrees to comply with this Agreement.
2. Driver Status
Drivers operating under the COMFORT platform are employees or authorized operators of White Comfort Executive Transport Ltd. Drivers must follow company policies and provide safe and professional transportation services.
3. Driver Requirements
Drivers must:
- Hold a valid Ghanaian driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class operated.
- Maintain a clean driving record in line with Company policy.
- Be medically fit to operate a commercial vehicle.
- Complete training and onboarding programs required by the Company.
Drivers must comply with applicable Ghanaian road traffic laws at all times.
4. Vehicle Requirements
Vehicles used for COMFORT services must be roadworthy, properly insured, and registered in accordance with applicable law. Vehicles must meet maintenance and safety standards established by the Company.
5. Driver Responsibilities
Drivers must:
- Accept and fulfil ride requests through the COMFORT platform in accordance with company policies.
- Provide safe, courteous, and professional transportation to passengers.
- Treat passengers respectfully and follow route and navigation guidance provided through the platform.
Drivers must not engage in reckless driving or operate a vehicle while impaired by alcohol or illegal substances.
6. Shared Ride Operations
COMFORT operates a shared ride transportation model. Drivers must follow platform instructions for pickups, drop-offs, and passenger boarding. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, vehicles may carry up to eight (8) passengers in accordance with applicable law and vehicle capacity.
7. Payments and Earnings
Driver earnings, payment schedules, and any applicable fees or commissions are governed by separate agreements and policies communicated by the Company through the COMFORT platform or other official channels.
8. Safety and Compliance
Drivers must prioritise passenger safety, including seat belt use where required, and comply with all applicable safety, insurance, and regulatory requirements.
9. Prohibited Conduct
Drivers must not manipulate the platform, falsify trip information, harass passengers or others, or engage in conduct that undermines the safety or integrity of the COMFORT service.
10. Governing Law
This Driver Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
