1. Introduction

This Safety Agreement outlines the standards, responsibilities, and expectations required to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of all users of the COMFORT App, operated by White Comfort Executive Transport Ltd.

By using the COMFORT platform, all users (Passengers and Drivers) agree to comply with this Safety Agreement.

2. Our Safety Commitment

At COMFORT, we believe: “Comfort is not a luxury — it is a necessity.” We are committed to providing:

  • Safe and secure shared transportation
  • Professionally managed drivers
  • Real-time monitoring and accountability
  • Respectful and harassment-free experiences

3. Driver Safety Requirements

All drivers operating under COMFORT must:

3.1 Verification & Qualification

  1. Be fully vetted and verified by the company
  2. Hold a valid driver's license
  3. Undergo background and identity checks
  4. Complete mandatory onboarding and safety training

3.2 Conduct & Behavior

Drivers must:

  1. Treat all passengers with respect and professionalism
  2. Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct
  3. Not engage in reckless driving or unsafe practices
  4. Follow all Ghana road traffic laws

3.3 Zero Tolerance Policy

The following will lead to immediate suspension or termination:

  1. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  2. Physical or verbal abuse
  3. Dangerous driving behavior
  4. Unauthorized route deviation

4. Passenger Safety Guidelines

Passengers are expected to:

  • Provide accurate booking information
  • Be respectful to drivers and fellow passengers
  • Avoid disruptive or abusive behavior
  • Not carry illegal or dangerous items
  • Follow seating and ride-sharing guidelines (maximum capacity rules)

5. Vehicle Safety Standards

All vehicles on the platform must:

  • Be roadworthy and regularly maintained
  • Pass periodic inspections by the company
  • Be clean, comfortable, and properly ventilated
  • Have valid insurance and registration
  • Meet COMFORT's branding and operational standards

6. In-App Safety Features

The COMFORT platform includes:

  • Driver Identification: Passengers can view driver details before ride
  • Trip Tracking: Real-time ride monitoring
  • Emergency Support: In-app contact for urgent assistance
  • Ride Records: All trips are logged for accountability

7. Incident Reporting

Users can report safety concerns including:

  • Unsafe driving
  • Harassment or misconduct
  • Lost items
  • Route irregularities

Reporting Channels:

  • In-app reporting system
  • Customer support contact
  • Direct company escalation

All reports will be:

  • Investigated promptly
  • Treated confidentially
  • Resolved with appropriate action

8. Emergency Protocols

In case of emergency:

  • Passengers should use the in-app emergency feature or contact local emergency services
  • Drivers must prioritize passenger safety above all else
  • COMFORT will cooperate with law enforcement where necessary

9. Data & Privacy Safety

User data is securely stored and protected. Trip data may be used for safety monitoring. Personal information will not be shared unlawfully.

10. Enforcement & Penalties

Violations of this Safety Agreement may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Permanent ban from the platform
  • Legal action where applicable

11. Continuous Improvement

COMFORT continuously improves safety through:

  • Driver training updates
  • Technology upgrades
  • User feedback integration

12. Acceptance of Terms

By using the COMFORT App, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood this Safety Agreement
  • You agree to comply with all safety policies
  • You understand that violations may result in penalties
